Photo Booth

"Why would you hire a Photo Booth"? Distinctly a photo Booth is neither a photographer nor a substitute for one, indeed the two couldn't be further separate. True, when booking one, you should always ensure they can be both using high-resolution, quality digital cameras but the key difference is one gives a service and the other fun entertainment!

Photo Booths themselves come in a variety of guises and sizes, the traditional or retro, which resemble the passport booths within supermarket foyers, or alternatively a softer booth enclosed by curtains. Some can have a more contemporary look; others still a theme or design element. Unlike in the high street these aren't coin operated, instead it's free to your guests with the push on the button. Ultimately they all do the same principle, take a series of images behind a specific curtain and produce them as an instant print!

Additionally the vendors will also supply a lot of accessories and extras either as part of the booth hire package or as additional options.

As a standard with any hire, you should expect unlimited photos through the entire duration of the employ period and an optional prop box filled with silly hats, glasses, wigs etc intended to enhance the entertainment.

To help you and your guests take full advantage of the hire, generally the Photo Booths will provide an attendant or two. More often than not though the booth operation is going to be controlled by the people themselves, who when available, simply press a button to get started the sequence. There could even be print options which include colour, black & white-colored or sepia?

The next action to consider is the prints themselves, modern software enables these to be improved relatively simply. Most providers will have an array of designs likely to involve standard, double strip passport-sized images together with an array of other options. In add-on, almost without exception, they will offer some kind of personalisation of the final print which include your names, date or anything else. These are likely to be displayed on the company's website, and will need to be ordered well in advance in the event. If you require something specific, it's worth asking of course, if your not sure require some samples electronically or by post!

Many companies provide several options perhaps the most popular being a 'guest book'! A superb keepsake.
